Yes there is more wind noise and no there is no way to fix it.I live out in the country so it's more important to me to protect the paint than to hear a slight wind noise. I just turn up the stereo to deal with it

We have not noticed any noise from ours. It's been on for about 4 weeks, and we've been on several road trips.

Well, I narrowed down my wind noise to be caused by the deflector as well. I could have sworn that we had the wind "whistle" before I install the hood deflector, but today I removed it and the noise went away.

I reinstall the deflector and taped off various areas (i.e. windshield, door gaps, etc.) but I could not isolate the cause. I did tape off between the deflector and the hood at the front and the whistle went away. I am not sure how to handle it at this point. I like the look and the protection of the deflector, but the noise is quite annoying.

Bonjour,

Well, I am about to put on the hood deflector and I have 93 000 kms. I should of put this on 92 999 kms ago! You should see my poor hood.

I also have vent visors and they add some noise but they work great and well worth the investment.

I think it comes with this hood deflector, the noise will go away if you turn up your radio......play some Metalica ........ that helps.

I had a funky noise when I first bought the car, it was from the front side windows. They removed them and re-siliconed them.

Hopefully you will not experience the wind whistle noise when you add your hood deflector. Some folks here have not had the issue with their install. Let us know how it works out for you and best of luck!
