Alright, so I have a 98 240sx. I recently got in a wreck and my car is being revamped. I have about $600 right now left to spend on my car, and I wanna put it into suspension. It's probably going to be the last money I'll be using to upgrade for awhile since I just went broke as ****e with the repairs. So. I was thinking about doing some lowering springs... I know I don't have money for a decent set of coilovers but I don't even know if I would need them anyways. What do you guys think I should do. $600...

Yep something along those lines with a drop of 1" like tein h techs. If you want to go lower 1.4+ you will need to buy rear camber arms 150-300~ as camber will be around -2.x. New tires will wear down quicker...With the 1" drop you can be close to spec and get decent tread out of your tire

If I were you I would pick one choice, either spring/shock setup or the coilover setup, and then save up your money and get what you really want. Because it would make no sense to buy a good spring/shock setup only to find out that its not what you really want; then you have to go out and spend more money on a coilover system.Actually now thinking about it why don't you just finish your turbo setup with that money and save up for suspension upgrades later?

well here's how i see it...

downpipe roughly $80 (muffler shop...)dyno and tune roughly $150 (titan)oil lines roughly $70 (enjuku)

that's not too much. but i still have to get all the intercooler piping cut and welded to par, and i dont know the first thing about installing a turbo / intercooler setup.

What is you piping made of? I might be able to borrow my neighbors welder or maybe even have him weld it if he is in a good mood

Engine enamel would do for me. My brother actually bought this ceramic coating paint at autozone that looks pretty cool. You might be able to use that
