Hey guys I got a 240 with a stock sr20 in it... Im straped for cash and want some extra power. the moter runs well and has got like 40 on it. I want to get an Afc1 or 2 and tune it up to about 12 to 13 pounds with a boost controller its got a 255 pump. It runs rich right now but i will get it tuned but my question is how much boost can that little intercoller handle? and how much boost can my Mass air flow handle? this is a real budget untill i can get some $$.. but these are the questions i need to know..

The stock MAF will handle plenty, really only need to upgrade it if your going to a bigger turbo. I've always heard its better to keep it at stock boost when running the stock side mount, but some people also go up to 12psi. And since everything is stock and its running rich you should just tune it up yourself, make sure fuel pressure is good and not too high. If everything is stock I'd really suggest getting an aftermarket BOV before turning up the boost.

i heard its best to keep it close to stock boost...u should check craigslist for a better maf..
