Yeah he did it alright. Took a curve a little to fast, I'm guessing aobut like 40-45, not sure I wasn't looking at his speedometer. He got a little to far toward the shoulder at a really bad spot, gravel all in the road from a small driveway type thing. Next thing I know he slams on the brakes and we start sliding toward a barb wire fence. The posts were steel pipes filled with concrete. His driver side front fender is completely collapsed to about 4 inches from the strut tower. He punctured the radiator, and crumpled the hood and the bumper is toast.
This accident is a true testiment to nissan reliability! After all this damage and what on first glance seems devastatingly beyond repair, once he got it home, it started right up and runs fine.
Figured I'd share his story, and see if anyone has any thoughts on repair or salvage.
