Bucking while just trying to cruise - boost control help please

I've been driving my 240 for acouple weeks now and havent really mad a big deal of it till now cause now it's just annoying lol. While just simply crusing when i let off the throttle the car bucks due to the turbo so i find it hard to just drive at a nice speed without the car doing this.

My question is can anyone suggest a boost control or some alternative way to control my turbo so that my car dosent buck everytime i let off the throttle? it's becomming a hastle and i'll end up selling what i put so much time into if i cant atleast drive it around w/o it seeming like im racing down the street lol.

I dont think a boost controller is going to fix your bucking you have.Maybe you need a new fuel pump or filter.

yeah i was also thinking it might be my fuel delivery, the turbo on my SR is stock so i mean...that turbo shouldnt be enough to kick my car back like that lol, it's a good turbo but not THAT powerful. Any suggestion on a new fuel rail or a new fuel pump? Cause it would make sience if there's a problem with the fuel rail not delivering when i let off the gas.

What fuel pump is in there now?If its the stock KA pump,Pull it out and get you a Walbro or a Denso fuel pump.And a 300zx fuel filter,Fuel rail sould be fine,But if you want one id get the Border,It comes with larger injector though.

sounds like a boost leak or leaky BOV, i had the same problem and it was the stock bov.

yeah its a stock fuelpump and rail, when i swapped the engine out i didnt bother with changing fuelpump/rail. I doubt it's a boost leak or bov cause in the higher gears it dosent buck so much but 1st and 2nd its horrible. How much does a new fuelpump/rail cost? Any site you can link me to?

phase2motortrend.com will have the fuel pump,I dont think you need a new fuel rail.Just do the pump and a fuel filter,and you sould be fine.

It only happens on vaccumm while crusing right? Your not using that much fuel so its not the fuel pump, especially since you said it doesnt do it in the other gear or going faster?
