alrite so my car is at the shop with a freshly swaped s13 blacktop into and s14...the car is idleing perfect, however, when mashing into the throttle it bucks and the cluster cuts off... it starts rite up somtimes but yet other times it clickes a few times before firing rite up. the tps censor is fine the cas is calibrated it has a walbro fuel pump and the coil packs check in...also when it starts the engine heat in the cluster shoots up to a little over half way to max heat, even though its a cold start up... id appreciate your input thanks!!

Sounds like something in the wiring is crossed. S13 Motors into S14 chassis are known for wiring difficulties...

ya.. sry i couldn't be of more help... Your ground is pretty likely... Also, with the wiring harness, did they sauder, use butt connectors, or twist and tape? (Yes some people are retarded enough to twist and tape s*** on a car) If they used butt connectors, you probably have one loose... You might even have an exposed wire...

check all the wires for the coolant temp sensor back to the ecu. there are two sensors, one for ECU and one for the gauge
