Had a very unfortunate accident today. I accidently burnt 2 holes in my seat. didn't notice it till i went out again in the afternoon. Very saddened and upset. my ST-L plush seats with 2 big *** burn marks. I know, i know, i shouldn't smoke in the car.

But after talking to my misses, she said i could get the seats replaced. I had always wanted bucket seats in my japanese made tiida 06. Its my very first car and i'm proud of it. she just reached 11500KM, So she's still my little baby.

I've been saving up for rims but now i guess seats take priority. Need help with info on seats if anyones is into it. Are there different sizes, fittings etc? And what will happen to the active head rest? any recommendations? I know sparco make REALLY nice ones.

Cheers guys!

all i know about seats is Sparco and Momo .... I know they are more expensive than regular brands.... but think about quality,,,,, about sizes, I think is more models... at least sparco and momo sell all adapters you might need to install them in any car...

Now, if you are planning to smoke in the car, i would go to autoadvance and buy the cheapest ones you can find!!! dont spend money in sparco seats to burn them

make sure ur state allows it cause i made the mistake of buying bucket seats but cant install them because of the airbag sensors. it wont pass inspection... same goes for quick release steering wheels...

I'm in Melbourne Australia, We don't have many CLEAR rules like you guys in the states. As for seats i think we can put any seats in as long as it has a proper seat belt to restrain you in case of an accident and can be adjusted to see over the steering wheel. Yeah sparco, momo and recaro are so nice and expensive. But i'm thinking of it as an investment.

AND NO MORE SMOKING IN THE CAR FOR ME.

Would anyone have any pics of bucket seats in their versa? would appreciate it.

thanks guys

I thought only the really old cars had to be tested through inspection.Aren't a certain year after that you---oh wait that's emission testing. What inspections are you talking about.I got a Nardi wheel with NRG 2.5 quick release on my v.

Does anyone have the adapter part number or which one to get if you are going to get sparco or momo seats?

Although just a cover up to what's really wrong with the seat, you could always get matching seat covers and keep all your airbags and airbag lights from going spastic.

You are removing airbags, that is a safety issue for any state with inspections. All cars would have a safety inspection, '96+ would also have OBDII emissions (state dependent of course).

But I can't recommend removing the main thing that would help in a side impact of a Versa (seats) and help in front/rear impact (steering wheel).
