BT45-INFI bluetooth adapter problem

I have a 2004 G35X and purchased the BT45-INFI so I could get bluetooth for my current Bose system. I've seen on the forum this working for a lot of people, however I'm having a problem locating the SAT receiver in the trunk that this adapter is supposed to plug into. Most models it's located behind the front stereo unit, but not on 2003-2006 G35 sedans.

I've attached a couple of pics with the lining removed in my trunk. I'm a novice to most things cars, so any help is appreciated. Is it there and I'm just not seeing it or am I looking in the wrong place? Thanks in advance.

Per pg. 109 of the FSM, the NAVI Control Unit is located behind the INSTRUMENT PANEL: FSM - G35 - Sedan - 2004 - AV

Thanks for the response. As I'm completely new to this, I'm a little confused. Is the SAT receiver part of the NAVI Control Unit??? which is behind the front stereo unit??
