Just got the newly updated minor redesign of the trunk illumination kit by BT aka Bill.
http://racinglineperformance.com/shop/p ... ategory=29
For $30.99, the kit consists of 2 strips of 12 LEDs wired to a 168/192 wedge fitting, zip tie, and a zip tie mount thingymabober.
This kit is extremely easy even my wife could install it.

Here is 2 pictures of my trunk before the kit.

First, take the cap off and pull the bulb out. I didnt like the cap hanging so I copped it off.

Second, wipe the area where you want to mount the strips down with an alcohol wipe.

Third, Install the strip and guide it over the torsion rod.

Fifth, mount the zip tie mount thingymabober on top in the center of the trunk. Look at the sixth step for a better picture of the location of the mount.

Sixth, pull the backing of the adhesive and mount it where ever you want. I found that this is the best location. After mounting, zip tie the loose wires so that it doesnt hang.

Now you can throw anything you want in the trunk and find everything in the dark.

It'll look good if you have a system setup. Maybe go with blue or red LEDs and it'll look sweet. Went to Walmart earlier and popped the trunk to put groceries in and damn! It's was big difference co pared to the single bulb in a frosted dome.

I'm now thinking about getting the under hood LEDs. I could really use the extra light when working under the hood in the garage.

Ya that was one thing that bugged me about this car new, I was like wait... no under hood lights? I'm getting the under hood kit sometime in the near future as well, I really miss being able to see when I open the hood.
