OMFG has anyone seen this? I can't find it on their website so let me set it up for those who havn't seen it. If someone can find the article on line and link it I would love it.

I would have mentioned it sooner but I don't read this rag much but a freind plopped it down on my desk this afternoon.Page 108

This guy has an old Hakosuka Skyline he brought from Okinawa to the states. That's great I am truly happy for him about that however the car must have a wicked exhuast leak because some of the stuff he is saying is wacky. It would be funny if it wasn't complete BS.Here's some priceless excerts verbatum from the article;

"these were originally made during the early 70's for the emperor of Japan"

(yeah Hirohito was a noted race car driver)

"I could'nt even change the color of the car while I was living in Japan. Body shops would tell me to go somewhere else if I wanted to paint it any color other than the original color"

(or it could be they realized he was a fruitloop and wanted any reason to make him go away)

And my personal favorite

"My freind even called me two weeks later asking me for the car back. Apparently, a couple of mafia car brokers had seen it advertised, so they flew to Okinawa from Tokyo just to buy it. When my friend told them that the car was sold, they immediately retorted with an option to buy the car from whomever he had sold it to. My freind told them that he had sold it to an American. They even threatened to kill me, especially because an American had taken such a precious car out of their country.

(sure they did, the Yakuza cares a lot about you goof. I mean after reading this barrel of weak BS I want to kill you too!)

Oki-guys remember the white two door with just rear overfenders, some guy named rockhold? And people wonder why ricers are so full of it, look at thier source of information.

Yeah, I have a japanese friend who read the article and said some of the stuff in there was a little iffy, still a sweet car though. But would an Rb26 swap in that car be a bolt-on affair like the guy said? Still, it's a pretty sweet car.

You live in Japan right? Do you get super street over there? or do you have to get it the same way we get option ?

pretty much, a shop on Okinawa did it in a car that looked just like it. It had about 600hp on a T78 single but the driver sucked though and our drags are only 150 meters so he ended up losing to my freind in an R32 with an RB25 swap, 300hp. Whoops!

I do all the light work for the master, Passing the turbos, engines, missions, I run the grinder! I made the peg fit with a large hammer. The mountain is a little spooky at night, Dam fog and Bosozoku running around.

Didn't you know, dirt = screeching tires, where have you been for all the ten years you've worked on Skylines. =P ( I'm finally reading your argument over in the skyline forum, it should keep me amused for a while. : ) It's a good thing I did a search on Oni's other posts, or I never would have found it ) Hehehehe.
