Bruised rod, usable?

Top of my rod is a bit damaged, anyone think I should replace? I dont know how much this would throw the balance off of the rod or even if it matters

If you have the money then replace it. If not just get the crank balanced...

This isnt really a crank issue, its fine. Im transferring my rods over to my other block and wondering if this bit of damage is worth worrying abt. As u can see its where the piston meets the rod. Ive seen rod scuffs before that didnt really interfer. This is a bit more severe

As much as I hate doing things twice, I'd go ahead and get aftermarket rods... That's just me though.

Eventually I will, its just that I have 2 sets of rods (because im building 2 sr's) and i'm of course reusing some parts for my spare motor. No biggie, i'll prob just replace this 1.

Definitely worth it. Do it and never look back but look more forward than you would be if you re-used a rather unsafe rod.
