Its been this way since i had it and the receiving end(vacuum hose) has a screw inserted

the reason i saw this in the 1st place is i was looking for the reason my heater wont heat up but thats another story

That is the evap control selenoid and what is happening i believe is the fuel vapor gasses are released into the engine compartment, probably not a good thing. What the ecu is reading is if the selonoid is opening and closing, so it doesn't monitor the gasses coming out of the selonoid going into the combustion chamber.Slumpert wrote:Looks like evap control selenoid. Kudos to the previous owner for figuring out how to hide that from the ecu as you should be seeing a CEL.
