Hello everyone, I have a 97 sentra with the GA. Recently, while replacing the control arm, one of the control arm to subframe bolts let go. The head snapped clean off it, leaving the rest of the bolt still in the subframe. The bolt that is in the pics is the other one that came out. It is a 17mm, 1 inch long grade 6 hardened steel bolt. How would you guys recommend I get it out? I have had to use cobalt bits since it keeps snapping my titanium bits and HSS bits seem to to nothing. I began drilling a 3/32 pilot hole already but have only gotten about 3 threads deep into it. Should I try an extractor? Or just drill through and tap new threads in? My fear is that if I snap the extractor in that bolt I will be royally screwed. Thanks guys.

I would rent a tap and die set front a parts store and take it out very slowly. Good luck :bigthumb:
