Siezed flywheel or the starter coming loose?

Both are far fetched but it looks like the starter binded up and snapped.

how can i check if my flywheel is seized or not ? i dun wanna install a new starter and screw it up again

The flywheel would need the engine to be siezed in order for it to sieze. So thats fairly easy to check for lol.

It could have just been that the starter commited suicide and locked up when you tried to start it so it just broke stuff.

i worry becoz b4 i pulled the starter out, i tried to bump start my car, and my car came to a complete stop when i released the clutch at about 30mph

damn get a rebuilt one you can get them pretty cheap like that thats what i had to do i think it was $70...

where can u find a rebuilt one for $70 ? i go to junk yard and they charged me $35 for a starter from a 95 S14i guess that would fit my 91 S13, rite ?

Doubt it... the gearboxes are different, bellhousings especially which is where your mounting the starter.

watever u do dont ask the nissan dealership for one, if i remember correctly they were gonna charge me $360 for one.
