Hey, just wanted to let everyone know, DO NOT buy a 2 peice shifter. I bought the pilot motorsports shifter for 100 dollars, and was all stoked about the great deal...well, it just broke..the seocnd peice(upper half) not turns freely over the lower half, making shifting a pain in the ***...I am currently trying to super glue it back together....we'll see.....

either way, the pilot motorsports, and the OBX shifter, are going to break on you if you drive hard. do not buy these.

well thats not exactly true at all.....

it is a two piece construction (which cuts the cost of the product due to the fact they make the top part universal, and only have to make the bottom part for specific applications)

use the sealant they use to install windshields, its permanent, and wont ever fall apart or loosen....i have two of them, what i do is once i get them, i pull them apart, and work them loose, then reseal them with that stuff, and they never loosen or break again, i think the sealant they use just isnt strong enough...

its not that its 'breaking' its just that it does come apart....use that sealant im recommending and youll be happy you did...the price and quality of the obx, plus the 10 thing of sealant still saves over the 1 piece ones, and gives the same results...you just gotta get passed that initial stage of thinking its broken for good, lol....thats not the case.

yeah, I just ordered a B+M anyway tho. I put some super glue type stuff in there and is seems to be holding up OK, I can't twist it or anything. Yeah what I mean by 'broken' is that it separated...either way, Im getting the B+M....I dont mind paying for a better product, and I tend toa buse the piss outa the stuff I buy...

plus it includes a free shift knob!(haha 'free'...yeah, my ***.)
