Alright I'm sure this has been covered before but I searched to no avail. My popup lights won't go down.. The motor works, no burnt fuses. Thing is I did the cut the light brown wire sleepy eye thing like a year ago.. Receintly my lights would be crooked when I stopped them and if I had the headlights on and I turned them off they would stay up until I would slam the door then they would go down, so it's obvious theres a short somewhere. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and can direct me to the location of the bad ground or whatever, I'm thinking it would either be somewhere near the drivers door or by the battery. Thanks in advance.

if they wont go down, it could be the wiring, realays located just below and infront of the stock intake box, or the mechanical switches inside the popup motor. I just fixed my driver side one, it would only go down if I did it manualy by turning the knob., but would come up fine, I tried changing the relays that did nothing so i got a newsed pop up. worked fine so it must of been the mechanical swiches inside the popup motor assembly.

Would both motors go out at the same time though? I don't think that would happen, I'm gonna check the relay one of these days ;/
