broken pieces in my head?

My current engine has something in cyclinder,that bash the plug in bad.I recently pulled the plug it stripped the hole.That why i'm swapping heads.My question is what damange could it have done to cyclinder itself? (it looks like they retreaded the hole and the piece fell in.

Could be alot of damage, could be a little. Depends on how long the piece has been in there and how big of a piece it was.

what should I look for when I remove the head?Scratched walls, damaged piston,Possibly oil??

Expect the worst. Including damaged camshafts. and alot of other things.
