do i really need the idle control next to the aac silynoid what is it for

The outer sensor is for A/C. If you aren't running A/C, you don't need to hook it up.

I wouldn't be worried about that thing as you may have bigger problems. But to answer your question and if I'm right about what you're asking, if you're referring to the thing above the AAC solenoid that sticks out, but is usually broken during shipping, then the answer is "No" .

ok well it is broken what should i do about it im tired of the motor where can i get it from

Because it is a valve thing, it's not as simple as just removing the broken valve and blocking the hole. That will leave you with a permanently high idle. Getting another unit would be the easiest fix for the problem.

If you were in Australia, I'd be happy to help out. If it seems impossible, let me know. I pulled all that off mine, because I'm using Autronic, which doesn't use these valves to control idle.
