Hello all i have just purchased a 1991 FairladyZ from Japan (JDM right hand drive)

It has a broken exterior mirror drivers side which is the right side of the car looking at her from the back. I do not know were to begin I hope i can just repair it? Seems to have just broken off from the small post and is just hanging there on the wire. Think i saw one of the springs or something go flying mabey some other parts are missing.

Happened 2 days before the insurance inspection and estimate F*&K sakes.

Check with one of our importers like JHOT or TotalJDM as you'll need a japanese mirror for everything to be proper for you

hmmm jhot.com does not seem to have anything listed on there site for nissan mirrors I will give them an email or a call ASAP see if they can help. As for totalJDM all i could find was a broken website and a bunch of negitive reviews.

ps i am going to take it apart tomorow and try to glue it for the aprisial and inspection on monday. Has anyone done this? does anyone have a schematic or drawing or advice or something?

Ok i think i have found the parts i need has anyone replaced a mirror before? I have read some tutorials about removing the door stuff but do i need to remove the whole door to disconnect the wiring harness so i can reconnect my new mirror actuator. Is there a way to remove the black mirror panel without taking the whole door apart?
