Broken left strut what to do?

The strut on the front driver side is broden and I was looking at options to fix it. I like the way the car handles but I think best performance and handling is the only way to go. I need it to keep me on the road. I am wondering if any one has any ideas since for the pair of front's it looks like i'll be pulling lint out of my pockets for a week after it's all said and done.

Go to zeroforum?id=172 and see who has something. If you buy the whole thing from a parts car it will go in with 3 bolts, it'll keep you on the road until you can fix it properly. How did it break ?

Hey thanks for the info but what I'm really wanting to know is what kind of replacement kits (shocks & struts/ coil over) are available and where to shop for them. I dont want to blow my wad but I am not oppossed to spending the money. The dealer quoted $856.00 for both and I have bugeted for that allready but would like other options if the result is higher performance handling. Oh yea almost forgot, it was broke when I bought the car. I guess a 348lb constant load on the driver side takes a toll on strut after some time.
