1989 240sx ka24eWell i got myself into trouble again...

I was trying to replace the o rings on my newly rebuilt injectors, and i forgot to put lube on the last one so it leaked when i was done (but it ran spectacularly, like a whole new car) so im tearin it apart to fix the last one, and somehow i managed to snap this little brown peice of plastic down at the bottom where the bottom o ring hangs on there. Does anyone possibly know where i could find this little plastic peice? i tried to pull some off the old ones but they were so fragile they snaped when i tried to get em off :mad

In shortDoes anyone know where or if I can find the brown plastic peice on the bottom of the injector? thanks

Thank you very much! :

it sould be ok without it. just make sure you get all the little pieces of plastic out of there.

Unfortunatly the bottom o ring fits around that, so now the o ring would be very loose around the injector without it

the o ring is at the top, the plastic cover on yours appears broken only towards the bottom.

It has a crack in it up in that area, but it seems to be fairly snug around there, is there much pressure in that area that it would leak? guess the only way to find out is to try haha.

Ive been looking EvErYwHeRe, i cant find that part for the injector, or even a rebuild kit or somthin.. :\

In the long run it would be a good idea to replace it. You can find a set of SOHC injectors for $20 + shipping, just post a want to buy (WTB) add in the classified section.

Those have to be pressed on... once they get brittle, they're impossible to replace.

Contact our sponsor, Deatschwerks - They can hook you up.
