hey ya, i just went to get my car inspected 2 day, it didnt pass cause my lh healight is messed up. it turns on but you gotta jiggle with that lever a little bit to get it to come on. also the brights dont work on the left side, but the right side has no probs. is there a fuse for the highs and lows of each headlight?

All your problems are in the switch. Mid 80s-90s nissans all have the same design and it is a common problem. You can pop you lever/switch out, take off the white panel and clean the finger contacts. This will work for a while but eventually it will fail again, prying up on the lower contacts for the fingers a little helps, but dont try bend the actual fingers down cause it will never work. New switch is the best way to go, they are 60 bucks from nissan for non-cruise im pretty sure.

The switch is on the end of the lever, under the column plastic. The whole unit comes out with 2 screws after you get the column plastic off. You will see a white panel attached with 4 little clips one on each side, pop that off and you will see 5 finger contacts those do all the work, individually for each light.

not sure where to get it online
