Hey guys...I'm new to the nicoclub and have a question...thanks in advance for your help!

I have just purchased a used 2007 g35x (LOVE this car!) and this car has the NAV system and the Premium package (i.e. Bose stereo). Is there any way to patch in an iPod with some sort of aftermarket setup? I've looked online and its seems I may be screwed due to the NAV system. The car DOES have the aux inputs, but those are not powered, so at best i would have to control the music with the iPod itself (i.e., no LCD screen control) and charge it every once in awhile, at best, right? Any other ideas or ways to get to iPod to interface with the Bose system?

Again, thanks for your help!

Should be replacable. They probably slide out somehow. Dealership should have them and should be pretty cheap.

Thanks Biggie for the thoughts on the door trim. You were right...the dealership hooked me up, no problem....free of charge, even!

Still trying to figure out how to interface an iPod Nano into the Bose system though.

i got the same problem.
i am currently using the aux hookup, but its analog and not digital, so it wont sound as good as an ipod hookup.
i have seen digital audio hookups, but none of them work with the navigation.
i have resorted to using a cf adapter with a 16gb sd card in it to hold the music.
i dont have my adapter yet. i'll let you know if it works.

'07-08 sedan didn't have the ipod interface like the '08 coupe did. You can try tapping your own auxiliary line from the fuse box and run it to the center console. With Nav you should have the MusicBox and can simply rip the songs to the hard drive....assuming you have them on disc.

I currently use the Apple Composite AV Cable (http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC748 ... jAyNDIxNTg) which I can plug into either my Iphone or my Ipod Touch. Whats good about this cable is it also has a usb cable attached for charging your Iphone/Ipod while playing music. I drive the 08 Infiniti G35 Sedan that doesnt have the Ipod integration jack in the arm rest console however, it does have the Aux jack plus a 12v DC jack right next to it. Unfortunately you can't control your ipod with your steering wheel mounted radio controls therefore you need to manually change songs on your device..... or do what I do.....stream music from Pandora. Whats also amazing is that while you are parked you can view video that you've downloaded onto your ipod touch/iphone although if you like some of the other G35 owners have done the video mod...you can watch video while driving.
