2015 Nissan Rogue SL AWD.

I have cracks/plastic missing in the mesh part of the cowl that is under the wipers on passenger side. The mesh usually keeps leaves and other material from entering.
But when wife beats the ice under the wipers to set them free, and breaks the plastic mesh, I'm now looking how to fix.

I looked for replacement nissan part but it appears to be NLA. Outer/upper cowl.

Not sure how a 6 year old part can be NLA. BUT can anyone suggest how to find a replacement part?

That part (66862-4BA0A) fits all the gen2's up through '20, so I think there must be a supersession that isn't showing up in the online databases like NissanPartsDeal. I'll check with our Parts Dept on Wednesday and get the story from the horse's mouth. However, the p/n from the original gen2 production (66862-5HA0A) shows up as still available and you should be able to substitute it.

The 66862n is the identifier from the parts drawings, it's not a complete number. But something is fishy about this because it isn't a 6-year-old part, it fits all the way up to '20 so it's essentially 2 years old. It sounds to me like there's a supersession that for some reason isn't showing up.

Any news on the possible new part number?

No, forgot. Thanks for freshening the post, I'll check tomorrow.

There is indeed a supersession, but it's part of a "service file" so it doesn't show up in the main database. Apparently they redesigned the pivot covers that go underneath the wiper arms (which is good, the old ones were crappy and tended to accumulate lots of debris). The new part numbers are:
66862-4BA1A - Cowl Cover
28857-9TG0A - Wiper Pivot Cover (2 required)
