Howdy and Welcome to NICO..

Since you have a 94 model. the chain guides should be metal. The plastic guides on the 90-93 model are the ones that usually break. Anything is possible, but for a 94 model, something I haven't seen on here yet.

How many miles does it have?

Any symptoms to report?

oil pan got punctured, and I did not know until 9 miles later. Oil pan seems to be hard to drop. Planning on repairing with jb weld, and filling with oil so I can start and move car out of the way. I kept reading posts about chain guides in the oil pan
