i was replacing my spark plugs the other day and with my bad luck i broke a spark plug . to my dismay it was also stripped. if any one can shed some light on how to remove the darn thing please help.

i was thinkin of drill a little hole into the plug then use a bolt remove. if there is a better way please inform me.

so the threads in the head are stripped or cross-threaded? how much of the plug broke off?

the electrode and ceramic insulation broke off but the nut and gasket is still in it. but the problem is is that the nut is completely stripped.

use a smaller socket and lightly hammer it on. it will either go on and get the plug out or the socket will break... works just the same on lug nuts/weel locks.

a tap and die set may work or go to the local parts store and see if they have something to remove stripped bolts. should be a socket

they have these special sockets called "bolt grip" that may work if the plug is rounded. i cant tell if thats what you mean or the threads are crossed at this point. can you be more specific?

And please explain what happened, broken and stripped? Were you using a plug socket?

if its rounded you may be able to get a bolt grip socket on it if they make one big enough. check your local hardware stores.
