yep thats rite it broke :(

i drove the car home from work 3 miles away. it was fine.. just noticed that the car was a LOT louder than normal. So. i notices one tip from the muffler broke off (stock POS) (stock evrything)

anyway.. next morning i wake up for work.. I have no clutch feel wutsoever.. well. basically none. snap it into reverse.. than first than i get to an intersection.. and the car wont shift for anything. i feel like im gonna break the shifter.. so i get it into reverse somehow and drive home.. only like 100 feet.. lol... and look at it the next day

clutch slave cylinder was leaking fluid so i ordered a new one. replaced it. bled the system then tried to get the clutch back

no luck... after doing bout 500 pumps no luck.. so now i towed it to the garage and now waiting for them to look at it.. my question is. wtf do u think is wrong.. and how much am i gonna have to pay outa my sr20det funds... thanks..lol:help

well, if its not slave cylinder its master cylinderits clearly a problem with the hydrolics. Slave cylinder seems to be common 240 problem but my buddy had his master go once.

you should be able to pick up a rebuild kit quite cheap <$50

hi, im the one that replaced the slave. it was indeed leaking and needed to be changed. afterwards, we bleeded from the slave. a lot of air came out but the pedal was still dead. i then began to bleed from the master cylinder (aka black box). there was no air in the lines running to the box. i then bled from the top master (reservoir) still nothing. the only thing i can come up with is that possible pressure plate or clutch has had enough.

you guys did refill the reservoir right?the clutch should be to the floor if there is no fluid right now and no air. it shouldn't have any springiness.you fill up the reservoir, close it, push pedal in and out (even though it wont have any feel). every few pumps check to make sure reservoir is full and in a few pumps it should be aight

but yeah its also possible clutch has had itmine got ****ed because of my slave cylinder as well

wait you bled from the top too?i dont remember but i think you're supposed to have the reservoir full and closed and only bleed at the slave

we would pump the clutch.. bleed slave then open resevoir to check/fill it.. same thing rite?

Bserieshatch69 ment to say. we bled the 2 boxes underneath the car.. the slave and master underneath.. not resevoir on top. air was comming out at first then just fluid but it didnt work

no, when the pedal is pressed fully it sticks to the floor. you actually have to pull it back up with your toe to get it back to the engagement point.

hrmmwell try thisi dunno how junkyards work where u are but what i woudl do if u wanna try this free anywaysis goto junkyardbuy a master clutch cylinderif it fixes it, great, if not, take it back to them and say its leakin

or if you;re feelin really sneakyjunkyards usually mark the parts they sell with paintso, you take the insides of your master cylinder and switch it with the junkyards, put yours back on, and give the junkyard back the one you bought with your inside parts saying the one they sold u is leaky and you ended up just buyin a new one from dealer
