Broke the water control valve lever

I need some help. I install my sr20 in to my 95 s14 but i broke the water control valve. The clip that holds the throttle cable is not there anymore. Anyone one got idea how to fix it or picture of the unit it self so i can take a attempt. How do you guys route your heatcore hoses.

Can i take that unit out? If i would what are the Cons. Will it always be hot air in the cabin?

Take the heater hoses that come off the motor and plug them into the heatercore nipple coming out of the firewall.... Pretty easy shouldnt take ya any longer then 15 minutes with a flat head screwdriver.

Dont really see why you would take it out? That would lead to no heat at all...
