Broke my transmission, very mad

I just broke a gear in my transmission and i'm very mad. I was suppose to autoX tomorrow. I'm very pissed right now. I guess it was from all those whole shots and AutoXign durring the Indy meet. Nick

Dang Nick, that sucks big!!! Gotta be gentle w/ them synchros man! I'll sell you my transmission if the price is right...seeing as how I am not using it right now

I know where a transmission is in the local junkyand that i can pick up for about 150. Also cnichols was thinking about selling me his engine and transmission and other stuff. I was looking at another 240 and putting my hatch up for the year untill next year. I still am very mad. But i wouldn't take it back because Indy was a blast. Nick

Aspc, have you checked the local junk yards??? There are several from here over to orlando on rt 50/colonial... im sure one of them has a 240 transmission..

BTW, im located in brevard for the summer...

sorry to hear that, but im in the same boat. i got my car back on thursday of last week with sr and a bunch of other goodies, and i broke 2 gear, and 2 syncroes on sat. The car was alot of fun for the couple days i had it. im hoping the shop will warranty the transmission for me, but i doubt it.. good luck finding a trans, chris

havent checked orlando area junkyards, but cocoa auto salvage told me it would be around 750 so im hoping to find someone who swapped and has it laying around.
