When I bought my car a couple months ago I installed a Pioneer AVIC head unit and 12" subwoofer. I wired everything up and it was working fine. However, I wanted to build a custom subwoofer enclosure since the trunk is so small anyway. Thus, I had to disconnect everything and reconnect. Now I'm getting REALLY bad noise. With the sub connected all I hear is "wawawa" constantly as soon as the remote wire turns ons. I tried switching the amp to the HPF mode for speakers to verify it wasn't my sub and its still really bad, although I can indeed hear music through the speaker (unlike the sub). Is it possible I somehow blew my amplifier partially? It still powers on with no warning lights/etc. I've tried two different grounding points, including the one that worked fine before. These are the bolts under the trunk mat toward the rear seat (the four bolts near the spare).

Any ideas? Thanks

it sounds like you blew your rca jacks. althought im not sure, this would be most feasible. if you want,t ake a video and i can tell better. did you try to switch any wires with the car on? did any on your power/remotes touch your grounds? more info, and i can tell you for sure, but right now, it sounds like the rcas on your deck went bad and youre getting feedback.
