So I tore the front end off the car to replace the front bumper cover and seeing that the aluminum reinforcement bar is also damaged I wanted to remove and replace. In my haste I broke the wire and smashed this small electrical component that mounts under the aluminum bar. It was screwed into the bar and ran over to a connector that is mounted on a cannister located on the passenger side of the car below the air intake, in front of the fan shroud. Does anyone know what this wire and part is? Screw was also rusted on and will have to be drilled out.

Thanks for any help,

Evan

Yeah, we need pictures of it. I could shoot from the hip and name off some stuff, but a picture would help us ID it easy.

Also, tech forum for tech posts.

Yep. That's the one. Did a Google search to check against my broken one. Nice one! Thanks for this. $15 replacement makes me feel better too. Sorry for posting in wrong forum, I will make sure for next time.
