That is the coolest freakin' setup I've ever seen dude! Once again you've gone the extra mile while doing tasteful mods. Congrats on an awesome job.

And that's why Broadfield's car is my favorite S13.

Toby, you freakin' PWN.

Now, next time someone starts blabbing about their store-bought mods and how "baller" they are, refer them to this thread!!!

Well-done, Sir!

I'm not that familiar with the Defi HUD. What was different about the Concept X from the V.S.D. Concept?
I did away with CEL. I am running a Power FC on a S15 motor, so the CEL ain't happening anyway. Odometer who cares. I still have my original cluster w/odometer if I feel the need to sell the car.... which won't happen. The fuel gauge, which no one has asked about, is a green digital gauge from Summit that I rear mounted behind black smoked plexi in the center console. It is also a really slick setup that I didn't take a picture of.... my camera batteries died.

THe Concept looks just like the "X" except it uses film on the window. I was still planning on using the "X" in the same fashion. I was going to remove the plexi piece on the back and order the reflective film for the window. Problem is that they changed the angle inside the module to reflect onto the plexi. So when I put the module on top of my dash I couldn't get the right angle to reflect onto the windshield. That's when I took matters into my own hands.

You are an artist, Awesome frabrication.

In one pic looks like you need a new steering wheel and how are you going to keep track of your mileage (odometer) now???

You should be hired by major auto Firms and paid lots of money. I was wondering about the fuel gauge hah. It sounds sweet, can't wait for pics of that too.

Yeah, I forgot to clip the streering wheel hub shroud back together before I took the pics.... oh well. I assure you I fixed that once you pointed it out.

Thanks for the compliments

Most excellent! The gauges in what used to be the vent... Get some PVC piping with same ID as the gauge, cut 25-30 degree wedges and use epoxy or hysol to make a a cluster that is raked towards you so that you canvisually see accurate readings without too much head movement. Finish the cluster after shaping and sanding with a nice primer and paint. Other than that, that dash cluster is just fantastic!

Your car just keeps getting better and better and better. What do you charge for your services, bc if I ever have the $$ I'll send it your way. Great big up for another awesome addition to a bad-A car.

Your car is without a doubt my overall favorite. You're my automotive role model. And strangely, at the same time, I hate you...

BTW, maybe I missed this somewhere, but what are you doing about a fuel gauge?
