You wouldn't believe how many emails I get about that mirror! It is a Mito mirror..... which is the company that makes most OEM mirrors. I got it because the stock mirror sucks and for the Homelink. I didn't want to dirty up my interior with a garage opener. It also has a compass, exterior temp and is auto dimming. However, you can also get them with dome lights or any combination of the features listed. I do sell them. The exact one I have would be $319 shipped. Without Homelink they run $219 shipped.

It is not a stockish headliner...... It is a STOCK headliner

What do you get when you get featured in a magazine?

LMAO, all I asked so far was what kind of fuel gauge that was cause mine is out and I'm driving on my trip meter, and then the mag. I'm not on his NutZ, I'm just curious.

Absolutely nothing...... not even a free issue of the month that it's featured in. They didn't even contact me to let me know what issue it was in. It came out and lot of people were telling me on the forums that they had seen my car in Modified before I even knew it was out.

Good thing, I don't think my nuts could support you.

I know its a stupid question but how did you get your blinkers to flash in the cluster?

EDIT: Where did you hide all your electronics? Like the defi control unit thing and all that?

For the turn signals I built up the housing using a short piece of PVC. I then cut the bulb mount out of the original cluster and super glued it to the back of the PVC...... which you can see both of these parts in the pic you posted. I wanted a plug and play cluster so that I could easily take it in and out using the OEM plug. There is a intermediate plug behind the cluster that works for this purpose. I cut off the plug(s) that actually plug into the cluster. I then traced the wires I needed for the turn signals and soldered them to the copper traces(pic that Touge' posted above). That way the bulbs make contact on the traces just like OEM. Once you have the OEM cluster out you'll see what I did. Basically the copper traces sandwich between the bulb and the bulb mount.... just like OEM. I pulled all of the other wires I wasn't using out the intermediate plug. Note: You only will use 3 wires in my setup..... 1 for the common ground and the left and right wires for the turn signals.

The Defi Control Unit and the Defi HUD control unit are below my radio. They are flushed into a pocket and hidden by the trim panel I made. I will take some pics and post them up later. I didn't want them displayed since I like a clean look and I don't have to get to them that often.

Correct! I cut off the OEM mirror mount arm flush with the plastic cover cap. That way the cap still has something to clip onto to make it aesthetically appealing. The part where I cut off the arm was obviously bare metal, so I sanded it smooth and painted it black.

The new mirror comes with a glass button and glue to mount it onto the windshield. So you can mount the mirror wherever you want on the glass.

how much would an auto dimming mirror with temp and map lights, no homelink be?? I can't seem to find ones without homelink that have the temp/map lights and auto dimming.

Wow! Truly amazing interior. How does it feel knowng you have more invested in your gauges than most of us paid for our 240s? Once again kudos on that epic interior.

Sorry to ruin your attempt to make me look stupid, but his has a compass, that's why I asked for a price on a mirror in the configuration that I wanted, not what he has.

Auto dimming mirror with compass(they all come with compass), temp and dome lights would be $259 shipped.

No problem! Just let me know if you need one. I don't stock the dome light versions, so it will take a couple days for me to get it.

Broadfield, your work is so sick, how many hours do you think you have on that interior? I wish I had the skills to make an interior like that come to life, props to you bro.

I really don't keep track of how much time I have into my car. Sometimes I just work on parts here and there if I have a slow period at work.
