Thanks for the heads up man!corey240 wrote:awweee broadfield, the other forum has your pictures loaded up in there gauge setup thread!
No, I am just naturally creative, handy and anal. I own a high-end custom car audio/home theater shop. I have been installing for 14 years and have about 24,000 cars under my belt. So needless to say I stay in good form. I do have 3 Bachelors degrees, but none of them really have to do with my profession.corey240 wrote:so did you go to school for this kinda work or you just a little nutier about a nice interior then me?
No need - AutoMeter makes angled gauge rings (looks like what Broadfield used). I just sold a set on here a couple months ago.180sxfaktory wrote:Get some PVC piping with same ID as the gauge, cut 25-30 degree wedges
Thanks Hitman, I appreciate that!AZhitman wrote:Anyone who thinks their S-chassis is "baller" needs to have a gander at this thread, then go home and pout in the corner.
Broadfield's S13 is as clean as they come.
THere's no price for perfection.....and there are always other options like:DarkAge wrote:Very inspiring, but the cost

I just built a new house, so maybe I should have a Sunday cookout for the local/semi-local Nissan guys. I am about 3 hours North of you on I-55 and less than 2 hours South of Chicago on I-55. It would be a good central meeting area. We could then do some cruising in the afternoon.vroom-chirp wrote:Man we gotta meet up some time, i admire your work, thats is some great stuff !!!!
Heck yes !! .... to bad i may not have a 240 around that time ..Broadfield wrote:

I'll put something together.

+1 to the DCCfayceoff wrote:The only thing left to do to your car is DCC swap. And what kind of camera do you use? Your photography always makes me feel like I should be able to start your car from where I am.
Did you get the "VSD Concept" or the "VSD X"? Neither will project onto the carbon at all. The Concept projects onto a reflective film mounted a few inches away on the windshield..... and only works at a certain angle. The X only reflects onto the reflective acrylic mounted directly behind it. The angle of the acrylic is predetermined and not adjustable. The angle of visibility would come from angling the entire unit. Give me a holler if you have any more questions. I want to make sure it's going to work for you like you think it is. Part of the coolness factor of the HUD is that it ties in with all of the other Defi gauges. I just want to make sure you realize that only the tach and speedo feature will work with your setup.FusionR300zx wrote:

i'm getting the vsd concept right now... now i gota sell my xline 60mm tach. just not to sure if i like the digital tack so much...
i've got a long way to go...
but here's what i got right now. do u think that VSD will project fine onto CF?
I have a S15 swap with a Power FC, so the CEL had gone bye-bye anyway. Odometer.... who cares, and I know when my e-brake is on or not by simple evaluation.chetacheese wrote:wow, thats amazing. very clean. how bout the check engine light and stuff.
you know I'm down! if you think his car looks clean in the pics, you have to see it in person, even cleaner!(went to the last BBQ) by the way, thanks again for inviting me, everyone was real cool and i had alot of fun!Broadfield wrote:
