I know theres a ton of threads on this, but I want my own dam* it. :pface I have sound clips(don't do this exhaust justice though) of the exhaust that I can send to you over AIM or something. If you tell me how I can get them posted on here, I'll do it. I'm also going out to take pics of this beautiful looking exhaust in like 2 minutes, so stay tuned for those. :)

My single tip won't be quite as classy looking I'm sure, but I hope it looks that nice... and well... there's no chance in everything looking that good cause my car's not blue either :(.

Well I just replaced the old rubber hanger that I had on my car, now I have 3 new ones. :D I also retightened all bolts and cut that dam* tow hook off. Thing was just a pain in the arse, so out came the dremel.

I'll make a note for all S13 owners to lose the tow hook BEFORE installation, especially with the single tip.

What was Nissan thinking putting the damn tow hook there?

Cause it's an inferior S13 :pface

S14's it's on the oppo side :ylsuper

It sticks out and generally looks fairly retarded on the S14s.

I think the rattling I was having was the exhaust was very very close to the top of the hanger and when I'd hit a big bump or turn very sharply, the exhaust would move ever so slighly and vibrate against the hook.

But I solved that problem.

nooooooooooo..... ive had an exhuast that looked almost exactly like this one made for me almost a year ago. custom piping and a dual tip muffler (powertech p1101 i believe, ebay muffler) and i do love the sound of it. so sexy.... i think i deserve a cut of the profits, hehe

actually greg, when they did the single tip, they accounted for the hook so their shouldnt be any clearance issues and no need for the removal of the hook. unless the design/jig changed, it should be straight. to all the other peeps reading this, check back on the sticky for the BRM exhaust on top of the general chat section to see the pic of the single tip; it should have cleared the hook. congrats rosie, welcome to the BRM side. u will now smile even more everytime u start u car. lol.

Looks like my exhaust! Catco high flow 2.25 inch cat, with a dual tip muffler....Brand of wich I am not at liberty to speak of,for anti-flame reasons;)

Wish I had seen BRM before I got this exhaust...I was looking at the HKS dual tip one,but too much $$ for me. How much do the BRM ones go for? I bet it sounds better than my ***-*(censored,lol) brand muffler with no resenator.

AZ hitman, is here anyway to get the brm for my 240sx but make it so its not so shiny? i dont really care for the bling factor on my car just performance, and in cali a shiny muffler gets you unwanted attention by alot of ppl (cops, and stupid honda ppl revving on you).So yeah... can i get it in like a normal metallic color and not all chromey?( sorry for thread jacking)

Great question!!!

Sure thing, Cyrus! Order the aluminized system, and I'll PayPal you $10 for some VHT high-heat flat black paint.

Way cool, and no bling. :)
