Hello all and thank you for your answers in advance,

Local muffler shops are trying to charge me like 100 bones to 120 bones to install this Exhaust system, I do not want to spend that since i just spent the money on the Exhaust. Basically I would like to know how hard it is to install this exhaust on a 07 sentra. As far as i know its just unscrewing a few things and removing the old exhaust as the new one fits right into the stock holding bay area..

Questions Follow,1. Is it worth 100 bucks to spend or is it simple enough to install this on your own. I have mechanic background so I beleive i can manage to install it but never worked with exhausts before.

2. How hard is it really

3. How long does it take on average

I have the proper tools and resources to do this on my own, basically just need some help and advice. As far as i know there wont be any welding or adjusting needed, as i beleive someone mentioned before in another thread of mine.

Thank You again for the helpNick

1. No. Don't spend the extra money. Because...

2. It's very easy. Lift the car up, a couple of rubber hangers to deal with, two bolts to get the old one off, then 4 bolts to get the new one on (should be in two pieces).

3. An hour MAX, even for a true car newb. 15-20min, including jack times, if you're familiar with the parts.

You shouldn't needing any welding or adjustment. Worst case scenario one hanger is a little bit off and it's $50 to re-weld it at your exhaust shop.

Make sure you hang the components prior to bolting them together... Pretty easy, especially on a brand new car!

Enjoy!

yeah the bolts should unscrew easily since the car is so new. you may need to reuse the stock gasket connecting the midpipe to the exhaust. other than that there weren't any problems. once you get the car lifted it will all make sense to you...
