I can't count the number of calls I've gotten for this product, but I wanted to give you all an update.

We should be able to begin production on the systems in late July, 2004. I want to make sure we have ample time for road, track, and dyno testing, and we've been just slammed with orders for 240sx and Sentra systems lately...

As always, feel free to email me any questions at [email protected]. :)

WooHoo...I'm definitely in the market for a good cat-back system. I've been waiting in hopes of the Greddy SP2 for the 97-99 models...but it doesn't look like that's going to happen any time soon. If there is any way possible, please make it a oval muffler...not a cylinder, please. Most importantly, thank you for showing some Maxima love.

Greg, I assume the Y-pipe is not part of the cat-back system, correct? :D

What I mean is that a Y-pipe is a "cat-front" setup ;)

Does that mean that this system will be only 3", or will it be offered in 2 1/2"? Also, will we have the choice of anodized alluminum or stainless steel, like some of your other lines?

Thanks,Scott

Are u going to make any for the cali emissions for the 99? I know a few 99 maxima's became cali spec like the 2000 and 2001's are. But it looks great. Real clean and smooth.

Scott - It will be available in 2.5 AND 3", and will be available in SS and aluminized mild steel (not anodized aluminum - bad material for building an exhaust :)).

Cullen - Yes. :)

Fezzik - Not likely. There's a member named Zaheer who calls me every 2 weeks waiting for this system to be finished. He asked the same question... I am unfamiliar with the CA emissions configuration, but I assume it would require removal of a precat?

p.s. If anyone knows Zaheer from the .org, tell him to get outta that closet called FA and hang out over here on NICO. He's WAY too smart for that place. :)

So how's the production schedule looking?...pricing? I'm looking to get my exhaust before the 9/11/04 meet at Beach Bend that Hal is helping to put together. Any updates would be appreciated. Also, if you have any soundclips/dyno info ready for release...I'm very interested. I would be willing to place an order immediately, provided delivery within 30 days.

Thanks,Scott

Scott -

Production on the Max system has been delayed indefinitely, due to circumstances beyond our control.

If anyone knows a 97-99 Max owner in S. Fla, have them email me ASAP, as we need a car to re-jig and possibly re-do dyno testing on.

Y-pipe is available and ready to ship.
