hey speed doctor you out there.i was wondering if you still offer to make coilovers adjustable for the j.there still no aftermarket available.i would have done it but i was a step ahead.i would like to tell people get them from brm.they were like 1400.00 or something like that.alot cheaper than what i did.i think it killer deal.i spent 1250.00 to have koni make me rear struts.my struts and springs cost about 2000 to have made.if i remember right they were hr springs and bilstiens struts.works for me.

Eswift, I think Diamond J needs to back off the tranquilizers.

It's the new ebonics; so cool, so noncommunicative. Shakespeare had it all wrong, don't you know?

yeah, i did a google search and a nico search for BRM. as far as i can tell it doesnt exist, at least in acronym form. anyone care to de-acronym BRM for me? i assume its not british racing motors, the uncle of the shelby cobra....

British Racing Motors was an outgrowth of the Vanwall Formula 1 team. Vanwall was the dominant bearing producer in the UK. AC cars probably had Vanwall bearings in the original 2.6L Acea, before Shelby dropped a 260 V8 in it, but that is as close as the two firms were to each other.

More like kissing cousins, once removed.

i finally saw the banner. those banners rotate each time you load a page, and i hadnt recalled seeing that one before.

-well if the speeddoctor wants to exhume those plans, i would get both coilovers and an exhaust.

$1400 would be a very good price.

diamond, come up with your own SC idea. might have to take out the A/C to find a place to mount it. Then you'll just need some custom piping and fabricate a mount that properly lines up the pulleys...voila

haha rip that aluminium skin right off...who needs it.

the supercharger can be done as chris suggested, as its been done on NA Z's. ive been currently working out the details.

one could also engineer a roots-type blower for the J30, its just that more custom fabrication would be required. (and maybe the discussed air scoop with external throttle bodies...haha)

i would get the coilover kit for that price, no question.....
