So I was thinking tonite, and realized NICO has like seriously over 2K members on the 240sx forums. So I figured if everyone of you donated a measily $1 to me, I could afford to rebuild my engine and have my beast running like new again. What do you think?

I say we hold a raffle. An s13 sr20 can be had for about 1500 bucks, and at 5 bucks a pop we'll need 300 ppl to enter. I'd volunteer to hold it but I'm new and wouldn't expect ppl to trust me holding all that cash, hell I don't know if I'd trust me holding all that cash, :-) Anyways, someone who's well known and responsible volunteer to hold the first ever (at least as far as I know) NICO SR20DET RAFFLE! WOO WOO

thats not a bad idea. but what if we give a sr20 to the wrong person....then a sr bites the dust forever. plus, not all members are sr20/s13 fans. we should do like a general parts package and whoever wins get those parts for their specific motor-we find out the motor and buy them like a new valve train or something

Dan, not all of us can live off mommy and daddies money and have them pay for all your upgrades! lol.

And i'm pretty sure i'm a technician working part time making over $10 an hour, which isn't a bad college job.

I just don't have any money saved up, and figured this is a good way to get the $$ to rebuild my engine.

I figure if the guy who invented the pet rock can make millions, I should be able to get a couple grand! heh.

I don't know how this changed into a raffle! the money was for me! lol.

I hope i'm coming back to KC to visit around christmas. Dunno if the s13 is gonna make the 21 hour trip though, last time I had the whole overheating ordeal, so who knows. I think Jesse's car is long overdue to be up and running.Very good responses by the way, heh.
