I finally got my foglights to work. And I now need to get rid of the factory 15W halogen h3 bulb, my headlights are 6000k HIDS.

Im looking for a good BRIGHT BRIGHT BRIGHT H3 bulb to put in the factory housing, and Id like for it to be yellow.

There are alot on ebay, but I dont know if the wattage can be trusted or if they are reliable.

Id just like for it to be really bright and reliable.

Thanks for any help and pointers

This is for an SUV, im not going for jdm, this is for safety as I now live in the mountains and fog is a daily s***ty thing I have to deal with.

Factory bulb dont even come close to cutting it. I want something so bright itll light up the road, or atleast he brightest I can get on factory wiring. But I dont want dull yellow, I want pure nice looking yellow

instead of making a couple threads about the same subject why didnt you just ask this question in one of the other two threads you made about your foglight troubles

Cause that thread was on foglight troubleshooting, now I just need a best brand for a true pure yellow bulb.

Is the factory setup a yellow lense, or yellow bulb?

Bulbs with film have lower output.

How did you fix the lights?

The factory setup is white bulb, white lense. I want to keep the lenses white, with yellow bulbs if the light output will be nice looking

I fixed the fogs by adding 2 grounds, works perfect now

Well I'm sure if you were a 17 year old, with limited amount of funds, you would be gracious that your parents handed you down a 2001 QX4.

Your only allowed to say something like this if you didn't total the 1st car given to you by your parents due to you f***ing around in a parking lot.

They didn't hand down jack s***. Handing down would imply you owned it.

I was once 17 with limited funds. I bought a $500 pickup. No A/C in Florida. GOOD times!

^ sure does

anyway are you trying to get a yellow like mine or just by a yellow halogen. From the sound of it your only solution would be a 3000k HID kit every other yellow you buy will look under powered compared to your 6000k headlights.

If you want bright than 3000k is the way to go otherwise don't even bother.
