Well I tried researching it but couldn't quite find what I wanted. My headlights both shine the same and seem pretty bright, I would just like a little bit brighter. So would just replacing the bulb (not the whole cover and all) help? As in are there more powerful bulbs? Thanks.

Delivering more power to the bulbs will yield more bang for the buck. There are more powerful replacements, but the problem with the S30 is the lack of a good, clean path for the power to reach the bulb filament. If you haven't already burned up the contacts in the headlight switch or the dimmer, it's coming - just a matter of time.

Relays are the answer - as well as using new, un-corroded, lower-resistance wire. Easy project, and this is the article I referenced on my Z:

Sylvania offers three different grades of 7" headlights with different brightness levels. Basically they are trading lamp life for brightness. All three are plug compatible with your current wiring.

Other options include HID and LED lamps also available in our format, but they have the side effect of lightening your wallet.

Azhitman's suggestion to rewire including relays is a good idea regardless of which headlight option you choose.
