what headlight bulbs gives that bright white /blue look ?

They're called HID's (High Intensity Discharge)

You can get them from DDM Tuning for like 40-50 bucks depending on what wattage you want.

the blueish colors are 6k or 8k depending on how blue you want them.

Its a plug & play. 8k hids will have some blue in it. 6k will be bright white. Check Google. Images to see wat color you're looking for.

A lot of people that go from Silver Stars to HIDs say there is a big difference and are much happier with HIDs. 6000k 35w is not white. Slight hint of blue. 8000k 35w is blue with little white.

6000k 55W I would imagine is very white. Never seen it.
8000k 55W is white with a splash of blue. Saw it on a friend's car.

The higher the watt, the more color is washed out of the light but the bulbs are also hotter. Some people say it melts things on the insides and other say they dont.

8000k looks the best in my opinion..... It is a shade bluer than most cars so you stand out.....
So if you want to stand out like me go 8000k
10000k is to over to top even for me

noooooooooooooooooooo 6k is the best light to get bc it gives the the brightestwhite light with a semi hint of blue

8k is more white/blue
10k is light blue
12k is straight blue
16k is purplish

best light for fog is 3k which is yellow

:werd: what Phenom said. anything over 6K is over doing it. and will give u LESS usable light.

Exactly. The higher temp you go, the less usable light you get. If you want OEM-like light, 4300K is about right for that. If you want super white 6000K works best. I have 6000K and I can see for almost ever haha.

Star2nv---Can you post the link to the ones you got from ddm tuning? for $40 for plug and play HID's im diggin it!

Assuming your choice would also be the same for 08 2.5?? Right now I have standard crappy bulbs and want 6000k

**EDIT: If I dont have the preinstalled HID's like some can I still get the plug and play option?
