ok, so i know we have a wheels and tire section, but most people dont visit it and i wanted to get this info out before the sale ran out. i found a smoking deal on some pretty nice tires. i already ordered a set of 245/45/17 for my 17x9 fn01r-c's. if anyone needs some good performance tires, id def look into this deal!

It is true, they are blowing out the RE01R's to make room for the new extreme ultra performance whatever tire. Do I care? No. I ordered 2 255/40r17 and 2 235/40r17's for like $430 shipped (normally 850ish). The only downside is that I got a call from the rack today telling me that the 255's were on backorder and wouldn't come for like 3 weeks.

Yeah, the RE-11 is the new tire. These RE-01s owned the street tire classes in auto-x for a few years, though. Can't go wrong with $79/tire. I wasn't even planning on buying new rubber this spring.

For comparison I called my local Firestone that I usually go to for tires. They quoted me right about $250 per tire for some 245/45/17's. Snagged a pair on here for $95 each! You can't beat that.
