I'm new here on NICO, well i've been reading posts for a few weeks, never posted anything. I have a 2004 G35 coupe 6MT, about 42,000 miles. I bought it used and now need to change tires. Anyone have any experience with the Potenza RE960AS? I'm looking for a good all-season performance tire. Also, anyone have any experience with tire warranties? It says on Tirerack there is a 40,000 mile warranty on these tires.

Thanks for the help!

Good and all season should rarely be used in the same sentence.

Satisfactory might be a stretch. Rare that all season work in frozen wet conditions anywhere even close to safe compared to the friction coefficients of a Summer tire in Summer heat.

Just like warm wet decreases things from 0.9 to 0.7, cool not cold wet gets you to 0.5 G at best ...............half the traction at best.

I have RE750's on my cobra (245/45/17). Excellent traction dry and wet. No road noise.Don't know if I'll get 40K miles out of them. But, will be looking at Potenza's again when I do need new tires.

I also had RE730's on my 97 cobra (275/40/17) and they did great too.

Good Luck!
