There is no breakin for cams. If there is actual contact between metal and metal you just ruined the cam. Prelube is very important, but once it's up and running it's basically the same thing as swapping a head.

There isn't anything to "wear" in...

yes thank youas i read the "you have to break in the cam" post i had to cover my mouth with my hand while saying "oh my god are you f***ing kidding me"also if you are doing oil changes to clean out metal shavings from the valves you are grinding down with your cams you have a problem, dont forget to break in your power locks and nismo shift knob
