Just got my Brian Crower stage II cams for my 93 240sx and I'm a little pissed. Seems they forgot to mention that youre supposed to "grind away the drive slot to stock specs and swap intake and exhaust cams" when installing. WTF? So, has anyone gotten these exact cams and had to do this? What tools will I need? I dont have the cash to pay to have it installed, so help me out here...and before you flame me, I searched for an hour and found plenty of threads about cams, but none mentioning this exact issue on the B.C. cams and how to do the install/"grinding"...a little help??

AMS Performance wrote:These cams, just as the other turbo cams we offer have the distributor drive on them for FWD KA24DE's. If you would like it cut off please specify at the time of ordering and we will take care of it for you. It is not a very hard material and can easily be removed with a grinder or cut off wheel.
If you have questions regarding doing this procedure you could try contacting the distributor you bought your cams from. I'm sure you could also contact AMS for questions regarding the install.
