Are these that good to have and what is a good price for them? How does $205.00 for the all 4 sound??

look on ebay. alot of times they say brembo and have a picture of the rotor outside the brembo box it supposedly came in, so they may be legit brembo rotors, but who knows. i don't know about prices, but 205 for all for doesn't sound that bad to me. they do help your stopping though. you can feel a difference. a friend put some rotors on all 4 and he said he could feel it.

Yeah, definetly not from ebay. Brembo makes the best, so of course people try to copy it. Get it direct from them is probably best.

Just switching to a slotted or drilled rotor without changing anything else won't really do jack s*** for your braking. Switching to a more agressive pad would make a bigger difference. The best thing to do would be save your pennies for a big brake kit and some SS lines. :sleep

True... very, very true. But a combination of all of those things is best, obviously.

hmm, i just recently (as in this past summer) put on slotted rotors, carbon pads up front, and semi-metallic for the rear. Since my car was hurting bad for brakes since i bought it and couldn't say what new stock brakes are like, but i noticed a lot of bite on the front end, probably the carbon pads.

i got my slotted rotors at ricambisport.com, cheap too, only thing the ones for the back aren't cadium plated, so they get rust residue like stock rotors, the front one are plated silver ...i haven't noticed any residue yet

of course i'm not done yet, i am planning on SS lines as well, and when the front rotors need replacing again next year i might upgrade to Q45 10' brakes/calipers.... i don't know if that will clear stock rims though, heheh

but anyhow, check out the latest SCC mag, they have a section on their project Silvia that details what they did for the brakes and also included tips for those on a budget
