Brembo rotors made in China

My mechanic has ordered Brembo rotors for my 95 Q45, aaaand they're made in China... sigh. I'm not that surprised, though I was hoping they were made elsewhere, considering the bad reputation of Chinese aftermarket auto parts. It's true that you never know until you try it, esp. so with rotors. If Brembo holds the Chinese manufacturing of their brake components to high standards, these rotors might be the exception to the rule.

It would be great hear from anyone out there that has had any experience with Chinese made Brembos... good or bad.

you should have bought rotors from me, they're better than brembos and you get to customize it to your liking (drilled slotted wavy)

I seek to learn here. Customization is nice, but what discernible properties make them better than brembos?

after a lot of research, the advantage (!) for normal street use is that you wear out the pads faster.
I have a set of brembos coming for my 94. No markings on front that say where they are made, but I'm expecting China. Rears are NOS say made in Canada.
