Is there any kind of preparation before installing Brembo slotted/drilled rotors??

Like turning them,etc???

Slotted/drilled rotors are a waste of money. I wouldn't buy them if you haven't.

If you don't plan on doing HARD driving, you are actually reducing your brakes performance.

Also, if you do use them on the track, be prepared to replace them very soon because they crack. It happened to three of my friends.

However, if you are looking for the "bling" aspect and don't mind the reduced braking performance, they are perfect. Not my cup of tea though.

No, you don't have to turn them. Just put them on.

no prep other than to clean the oil off. i dont know about slotted/drilled but my regular brembos came(just like stockers) in a bag with an oil coating. you need to THOROUGHLY clean that oil off with brake parts cleaner from auto parts store. spray, wipe with rag, spray, and wipe. repeat.

exactly. a scotch brite pad and some dishwashing soap works great too. when your done, they should be dull and have some slight surface rust indicating all the oil is off, then your good to put them on
