I've search on Syncros (or Synchros) nothing relevant to RB25's. I have an RB25 transmission with a Cs Short Shifter, and sometimes when i shift its really rough and kinda grinds. I heard short shifts can cause synchros to go out and i was wondering if i need to move the plate around, or just put it back to stock?

Next question, a breather tank on a RB25. Where the best place to tap for the breather tank? I was thinking somewhere near the TB since it is a really high point that can trap air. Iam looking for 2 points.

First, For the shifter, make sure you have the proper fluid level in your transmission. (not over or under-filled -- around 2 q I believe) Check that first, then consider moving it back to stock to alleviate the synchronizers.

Second,Why are you wanting two tap points? Why not use both nipples on the cam covers into a breathable tank? Or cap the exhaust nipple and run a single line into the tank from the intake cams nipple?

Color me confused

The transmission fluid level i filled by taking off the fill nipple, and filling it up until i could stick my finger and and feel the fluid level with the fill hole. I was also considering going back to stock, since i dont really track my car much.

I was thinking two points bc the GREX breather tank i have has two on the side to generate the suction, and one at the very bottom going to the radiator. For VQ's i usually put one on the heater hose in the back and one on the water plate between the fuel rails, so i was wondering if there were good spots like that for the RB25 S2.

Thanks for your help !
